Zelle Info:

DUES Include:

1)  Kit: Your Rugby Gear, called your "Kit", which will consist of branded LT Rugby gear for games and practices, warm-up gear, school-wear, game day, etc. Kit price is in the $250 to $300 range typically.

2)  Meals and Transportation: We cover Main meals for you when you travel with us on the team bus, such as lunch enroute and dinner back. Covers all bus transportation / charter bus rentals.

3)  Team Dinners: We do a Team Dinner after practice a few weeks a month, usually after the earlier practice that week (which is typically a Thursday practice). We want all team members there, as we cover previous game film, etc., and it's a great culture / team bonding time. We also like parents to attend when they can, get to know each other, have fun, learn rugby, etc. (Parents pay own meals separately). Rugby is a very fun time for the parents!

4)  Field Use and Referees, Trainers

**** Parents: If it's on your heart to provide other funds to help the team, please feel free to help us with drinks, a meal, etc., for the kids by looking at one of the BOOSTER rates in our STORE link and donating anything you'd like to there. We are a non-profit, so donations there are deductible for you. This also helps us if we have a special needs situation and your donation might help someone have their only chance at playing a high school sport.

*** We also ask parents if you know any businesses or companies in the area to please ask if they’ll be a sponsor at any level for us. That’s how we get the longer distance trips covered, and how we pay for balls, club gear, and field use.

PRACTICES: Normal weeks will have three practices on Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday evenings. These will all be posted on the TeamApp/website. Here is a typical schedule that most weeks will follow below but be aware changes can happen.

· Tuesday – 6:00PM to 7:30PM – Lake Travis Middle School stadium

· Wednesday – 6:00PM to 7:30PM – Lake Travis Middle School stadium

· Thursday – 4:30PM to 6:00PM – ANNEX field (right after school). Sometimes followed by Team Dinners.

Gear: Bring your fitted / molded mouthpiece / container, and cleats, and a large water jug with your name on it. Also buy rugby shorts for practice (typical nylon shorts don’t cut it in our real practices). You can get them for $35 or so on Amazon. Try to find Canterbury brand. They are the best and are just like what we play games in. Go one size larger with Canterbury gear.
